So its finally goodbye to Chas & Dave the pair who invented Rockney. They may have been Spurs fans but they were top men. I can remember seeing them in 1976 in Croydon supporting 10cc what a strange bill that was but a cracking gig. So for old times sake just one more time for my mother in law "You've got more rabbit than sainsburys why don't you give it a rest etc etc..."

Chas is still on the road doing a Jerry Lee Lewis tribute he evidently played with him in the 60's. If he's a neighbour didn't you notice the midnight strains of "Gertcha" floating across the village?
